Musical Artist’s Book

For this project, the ask was to create a book focusing on the biography and music of a prolific artist, with the aesthetic pairing of an unsuspecting design movement in history. I chose to pair Postmodernism with the hardcore band Every Time I Die. The disconnected and bold quality of postmodernism echoed that of Every Time I Die’s fast paced and aggressive music, while the collective harmony of the art movement communicated the band’s heartfelt lyrics and smooth ballads.
